The University of Wisconsin offers a variety of Boys Hockey Camps which are focused on developing the skills of hockey in an enjoyable atmosphere. Current Badger coaches will lead the instruction at each camp, with support from current and former members of the Badger Men’s Hockey team as well as visiting coaches and clinicians. The Team camp will include position practices, off-ice conditioning and post-game recovery, and tournament-format competition throughout the week. The Youth Skating and Skill Camp is a day camp that will focus on power skating, puck skills and small area games.  All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

2019 CAMPS ARE OPEN FOR REGISTRATION!

This camp focuses on both individual and team skills to help campers maximize their potential. These camps will provide one on-ice instruction each day, with all instruction provided by the Badger Coaches and camp staff. All campers will receive a jersey. All camp locations will have professional health services staff on hand.

  • This camp is open to any and all entrants ages 8 to 13
  • $425 per camper
  • Discount - $100 off for the first 2 goalies in each group

Group 1 - Ages 8, 9, 10 (Squirt)

Group 2 - Ages 10 (Pee Wee), 11

Group 3 - Ages 12-13

  • Campers will be divided into 3 groups. 10 year old campers will have the option to choose betweeen Groups 1 & 2.
  • Check in: Monday, July 22 at LaBahn Arena - see "info packet" for exact check-in times
  • Dismissal: Each day at LaBahn Arena - see "info packet" for exact dismissal times each day
  • Lunch will not be provided. This is a day camp only; no overnight housing will be provided

REGISTER NOWINFO PACKET

Learn what it takes to be a part of a Big Ten Men’s Hockey program and experience a week in the life of a collegiate hockey player. Campers will stay on campus in residence halls, eat on campus, and skate at the new LaBahn Arena. Positional practices (forwards, defense, and goalie) will focus on individual skills and team concepts. Group activities throughout camp will keep the players busy while learning about what it takes to be a Badger hockey player. Camp includes meals, off-ice conditioning/post-game recovery, and the Badger Cup round-robin tournament at the end of the week.

24-hour supervision provided by Wisconsin coaches and staff. All overnight accommodations and meals will be in UW’s campus residence halls and dining facilities. All campers will have access to locker rooms at the Kohl Center during the week to keep your hockey equipment at the rink. All camp locations will have professional health services staff on hand.

  • Open to any and all campers entering grades 9-12 that are a part of an attending team
  • Interested teams should contact badgercamps@athletics.wisc.edu in order to reserve a spot and receive more information on how to register!
  • Limited to 20 players per team (16 players minimum!)
  • This is a Team Camp and campers MUST be part of an attending team in order to complete the online registration and attend this session!
  • Residential Camper - $650
  • Check in: Monday, August 5th from 10:00-11:00 am at LaBahn Arena
  • Check out: Thursday, August 8th from 9:00-10:00 am at the residence hall. All ice sessions will be done by 1:00 PM. 
  • Campers will housed in Sellery Hall
  • Meals will be enjoyed at the Gordon Dining and Events Center
