The University of Wisconsin offers an array of Boys Basketball Camps: Father/Son Camp, Advanced Camp, Team Camp and the Badger Basketball Experience Day Camps. These camps are focused on providing a first-class learning experience using dedicated and enthusiastic staff.  Current Badger coaches will lead the instruction at each camp, with support from current and former members of the Badger Men’s Basketball team as well as visiting coaches and clinicians. All sessions of Badger Sports Camps are open to any and all entrants, limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender.

A unique and one of a kind experience at the Kohl Center for fathers and sons. Camp will consist of games, contests, father-son photo with Coach Gard, and instruction on how to work out with your son. Included with registration is a Badger Basketball Camp T-shirt, practice jersey, and basketball along with professional medical care onsite. All campers will receive lunch on Saturday.  Additionally, for residential campers, overnight accommodations at UW’s campus residence halls and breakfast on Saturday are included. Dorm rooms accommodate two people. Those who bring more than one son to camp will be required to use a separate dorm room.

  • Check-in: 5:00-6:00 pm on Friday, June 9
  • Check-out: 4:15 pm on Saturday, June 10
  • One session Friday night, two sessions Saturday (morning, afternoon)
  • Participants will be housed at Witte Hall
  • Meals will be enjoyed in Gordon Dining Hall
  • Open to any and all boys entering grades 3-8 in Fall 2023

Campers will be divided by age into teams and skill groups with a 10:1 camper to coach ratio. Campers will receive both team-orientated instruction and individual skill instruction designed for younger age group that focus on basic skills.  Sessions will consist of drill stations, games, and age appropriate camp lectures from the Wisconsin Staff.  All campers will receive lunch and an individual evaluation from the Badger Camp Coaching Staff.  All campers will also receive a Badger Basketball Camp T-Shirt, practice jersey, and basketball.  All camp locations will have professional health services staff on hand.

  • This is a day camp only; no overnight housing will be provided
  • All-Day Session Only. No AM or PM only
  • Check-in: 8:15-9:00 am each day at the Kohl Center (tentative)
  • Check-out: 4:55 pm each day at the Kohl Center (tentative)
  • Open to any and all boys entering grades 5-8 in fall 2023

Campers will be divided by age into teams and skill groups with a 10:1 camper to coach ratio. Campers will receive both team-orientated instruction and individual skill instruction designed for an older age group, with more advanced topics. Sessions will consist of drill stations, games, and the unique opportunity for campers to have their shot video taped and evaluated by the Badger Staff.  All campers will receive lunch and an individual evaluation from the Badger Camp Coaching Staff. All campers will also receive a Badger Basketball Camp T-Shirt, practice jersey, and basketball. All camp locations will have professional health services staff on hand.

  • Open to any and all boys entering grades 2-5 in fall 2023

Experience the environment of a Big Ten Basketball program. Compete against other great individual players, and develop skills with the Badger coaching staff.  All campers will receive a Badger Basketball Camp t-shirt, practice jersey, and basketball. Camp includes lunch. There is a JV and Varsity level option for participants.

  • Check-in: 8:30-9:30 am on Thursday, June 29 (tentative)
  • Dismissal: 4:00 pm on Thursday, June 29 (tentative)
  • Open to any and all boys basketball players entering grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2023

Camp will consist of games with certified high school and college officials. All team players must have high school eligibility remaining. All campers will receive a Badger Basketball Camp T-shirt. All camp locations will have health services staff on hand.

  • Individuals must be part of an attending team in order to complete the online registration and attend this session.
  • Interested teams should contact badgercamps@athletics.wisc.edu in order to receive more information on how to register!
  • Registration is first-come, first-served. Teams will be approved once payment is received!
  • No overnight housing will be provided.
  • Format: Teams will play 4 games between Thursday evening and Friday afternoon.
  • Check-in: TBD at the Kohl Center on Thursday, June 29.
  • All teams will be required to supply a person over the age of 18 to work the scorer's table for each of their games!
